Course Overview
The course focuses on hands-on building services design and BIM-based modelling aligned with industry standards and best practices. It is suitable for electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, designers, and students aiming to work in commercial buildings, residential projects, hospitals, data centres, and EPC construction projects. By the end of the course, learners will be capable of developing coordinated, accurate, and clash-free MEP models using Autodesk Revit MEP.
Course Objectives
- 01Develop a strong understanding of building services systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
- 02Design and model real-world MEP systems for commercial, residential, healthcare, and industrial projects.
- 03Interpret and work with engineering drawings, standards, and project specifications used in industry.
- 04Understand load calculations, system sizing, and layout planning for various building services.
- 05Produce detailed drawings, layouts, and documentation suitable for execution and construction.
